Bar peeling is a method which is used to remove oxide scale, mill scale and surface cracks, etc., from hot-rolled and forged blanks.
The most common materials that are peeled are carbon steel, spring steel and stainless steels.
Our technicians have devoted themselves to such field for many years and now can provide a few geometries in a few grades to such applications.
Our insert Y series Y series are for finishing purpose, with 4 cutting edges; The X and T series are used for the workpieces are for roughing purpose along with tthe Y series. The round insert R series are not used alone, but often used in tandem with the above two series.
